Enhanced Occurrence of Thyroid, Renal, Pulmonary, Melanoma, Bladder, and Prostate Cancers Post-diagnosis of Primary Cutaneous B-Cell Lymphoma: An Analysis by Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Results SEER Database

Abstract

A comprehensive study utilizing the SEER database reveals a significantly elevated incidence of secondary malignancies among patients diagnosed with primary cutaneous B-cell lymphoma PCBCL. This analysis indicates notable increases in thyroid cancer, renal cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer diagnoses following PCBCL. These findings emphasize the importance of comprehensive surveillance for these cancers post-PCBCL diagnosis.
